What is a virtual world? How does it feel? Are they mere games or meant for teens? How reality is represented in a virtual world? Is it possible to save and archive a virtual world for the coming generations?
Researchers Laurent di Filippo (University of Lorraine, Metz, France) and Olle Sköld (Uppsala University, Sweden) discuss their research projects relating to virtual worlds and answer questions in Turku TomorrowCafe in the virtual world of Second Life http://www.slurl.com/secondlife/EduFinland%20II/157/173/26/. The discussion is moderated by senior lecturer Isto Huvila (Information Studies, Åbo Akademi University, Finland). Seminar is a part of the Researcher's Night in Turku even and is organised by Åbo Akademi University, University of Turku and Turku University of Applied Sciences.
